Positive in temperature conservative difference scheme for combustion problems

Abstract: The diffusive part in an operator splitting scheme is considered for a combustion problem. Special approximation of the energy flux is proposed providing fulfilment of the additional condition of the source non-negativeness in the heat conduction equation. Finite difference scheme is constructed from this approximation.
