Program specialization for object-oriented languages by partial evaluation: approaches and problems

Abstract: Program specialization for object-oriented languages by the method of partial evaluation is considered. The method is well established for functional languages, but its further development for object-oriented languages is required. An overview of the features of existent specializes for this class of languages is given, and their drawbacks are discussed and the problems to be solved are formulated.
