Abstract:
A specialized method for modeling the radiation emission of recoil electrons during photon irradiation of a target made of a given material is presented. This method is based on the preliminary construction of a repository of emission characteristics containing pre-computed cubes of escape probabilities, average energies, and electron angles. For an arbitrary photon flux, the problem is reduced to a fast operation of convolution of its spectrum with the repository data, which significantly accelerates computations compared to full-scale modeling of photon and recoil electron transport in a complex object.
