Publishing and citing datasets

Abstract: The paper addresses issues related to the creation of data archives, their publication, placement of metadata in the Crossref bibliographic database and citation of datasets in scientific publications. Examples of popular world data archives are given and an experiment on creating and publishing datasets in KIAM is described.
