Development and analysis of algorithms for computing optimal disturbances for delay systems

Abstract: New fast algorithms for computing the maximum amplification of solution norms and optimal disturbances are proposed and justified for delay systems. The proposed algorithms were tested on a system of four nonlinear differential equations with time delay, which is a model of experimental infection caused by lymphocytic choriomeningitis virus. Results of numerical experiments are presented and discussed.
