Query optimization in a system of virtual database mass integration

Abstract: he problem under consideration — optimization of massive search queries which obtain data from a set of independent relational databases. Experimental estimations of the most significant methods for massive queries: transformations of the logical plan and parallel execution are given. Also, we give conditions of gaining benefits from use of two servers for parallel execution of the JOIN operator.
