Abstract: The problem of the measurement of the volumetric efficiency of a semi-open impeller centrifugal little spending pump at an early design stage is observed, the optimization of the magnitude of the axial clearance taking into account leaks and friction disk is provided, a mathematical model of leaks in the impeller centrifugal pump that can be used in the design of the pumps is created.
