Stability of the certain multiparameter Hamiltonian system

Abstract: The problem of computation of the stability set of the equilibrium point of certain gyroscopic system is solved. The system is a linear Hamiltonian system with 4 degrees of freedom and 5 parameters. Methods of the elimination theory are effectively applied to solve the problem.
