Radiative Transfer Scale Properties in Inhomogeneous Media

Abstract: The possibilities of using the perturbation method for solution of radiative transfer equation in inhomogeneous media are estimated in this paper. For investigation of scaling effect for both regular and fractal models of media we have used Monte-Carlo method. The study of how the internal inhomogeneity affects the radiative transfer in media is based upon determined and random types of vertical inhomogeneity.
