Abstract: In the paper we continue investigation of the methods (based on a Riemann boundary value problem) for derivation of the strong asymptotics for the polynomials orthogonal with respect to the complex weight. Here we consider a matrix version of the approach. The paper presents a continuation of the lecture notes for a short special course for students.
