The Moscow Mathematical Society after the reorganization and during the Great Patriotic War

Abstract: This work is released in the year of the 150th anniversary of the Moscow Mathematical Society (MMS). It examines the activities of the Society after the reorganization in 1931, the results of which were presented at the Second All-Union Mathematician Congress (1934). In addition, the article provides information on the work of the MMS during the Great Patriotic War. The paper is based on the analysis of the Society’s documents and published mathematical issues.
