Abstract: One of the possible technologies for system analysis, structuring and partial formalization of the descriptions of entities and problematic situations is considered as an attempt to reduce the influence of subjectivity in the design of decision support systems. It is proposed to differentiate the concepts of semantic networks and associative networks. The description of operations with the situation patterns for the search of analogies is given. A conceptual scheme of associative text recognition is proposed.
