A review of the intelligent lung cancer diagnosis methods

Abstract: An overview of new lung cancer intellectual diagnosis methods and of peculiarities of intelligent diagnostic systems that classify lung nodules in images obtained from the computed tomography is presented in the paper. Basic steps of the lung nodule detection and classification are considered. The main attention is paid to the analysis of the diagnostic system intellectual components based on deep and shallow learning algorithms.
