On solvability of delay differential-algebraic equations

Abstract: In this paper, linear and quasi-linear systems of delay differential-algebraic equations (DAEs) are considered, connections between the index of the leading part of the delay DAE and the index of the corresponding DAE without delay are found. For quasi-linear DAE, conditions of non-local solvability are discussed.
