Abstract:
The effect of trapping the moving doping atoms by motionless defects to superstructures formed as a result of phase transformations of directional solidification type is analyzed. It is shown within the capillary-wave model that, in the most typical case when the time of diffusive jump of doping atoms is much less than the characteristic time of their segregation at defects, the conditions of appearance of periodic superstructures are relieved if this effect is considered.
