Influence of the surface spin pinning parameter of a ferrite film on dispersion characteristics of layered ferrite-ferroelectric structures

Abstract: A theory has been constructed for rigorously describing a spectrum of hybrid electromagnetic-spin waves on an arbitrarily magnetized screened layered structure consisting of ferromagnetic, ferroelectric, and several dielectric layers with the inclusion of an arbitrary pinning of spins on the surface of a ferromagnetic film. The dependence of dispersion characteristics of the layered structure on the surface spin pinning parameter and on the permittivity of the ferroelectric layer has been investigated theoretically.
