Abstract:
We demonstrated the possibility of application of scanning laser confocal Raman microscopy for visualization of the ferroelectric nanodomains in lithium niobate single crystals. The changes of the inte-grated intensity, half-width and frequency of several Raman lines in the vicinity of nanodomain boundaries were demonstrated. These nanodomains were formed after crystal heating by pulse laser. Recording of the spectral line parameters during two-dimensional scanning was used for the reconstruction of the nanodomain structure image.
