Abstract: The methods of “dry” synthesis of Ag–AgI hybrid nanostructures in the bulk of nanoporous silica glass with an average pore size of 17 nm have been described. Spectral characteristics of obtained nanocomposites have been presented. The possibility of forming the Fano resonance due to the electromagnetic coupling between AgI excitons and Ag plasmons has been shown.
