Abstract:
The one-dimensional variant of the Kolmogorov–Mehl–Johnson statistical crystallization theory has been generalized taking account the case of randomly arranged obstacles for the propagation of boundaries of a new phase. The equation describing the kinetics of process has been obtained and used to calculate the time dependence of the fraction of the transformed substance. The modification of the kinetics with variations in the density of obstacles and duration of delay times produced by them has been investigated.
