Abstract: Electrical properties of polyacetylene produced by polyvinyl alcohol dehydration were studied at direct and alternative current measurements. These properties exhibit some a peculiarity at 325 K. It is attributed to two phase coexistence. One of them has a hopping conduction and another one goes from a high-conducting to low-conducting band-type state at 325 K.
