Abstract:
Pressure and temperature dependences of the conductivity anisotropy of TlGaTe$_2$ chain single crystals have been investigated. It has been found that the conductivity anisotropy of TlGaTe$_2$ can be controlled by choosing the values of temperature and pressure. The temperatures (216, 193, and 77 K) and corresponding pressures (0, 0.31, and 0.71 GPa) have been determined, at which the conductivity of the TlGaTe$_2$ single crystal becomes isotropic.
