Abstract:
The effect of the surface on the sublattice canting of a two-sublattice antiferromagnet due to the Dzyaloshinskii–Moria interaction has been studied. It has been shown that the canting angle near the surface differs from the bulk value. The dependence of the canting angle on the distance to the surface and the additional surface magnetic moment have been calculated. The compensated and uncompensated antiferromagnet surfaces have been considered.
