High-temperature heat capacity of YVO$_4$

Abstract: The molar heat capacity of YVO$_4$ has been measured as a function of temperature (363–1000 K). The thermodynamic properties of the oxide compound have been calculated from the experimental data. The generalized equation describing the temperature effect on the heat capacity of yttrium orthovanadate in the range of 25–1000 K has been derived.
