Influence of the optical pulse length on the amplitude and phase of photoinduced coherent phonons

Abstract: The theoretical dependence of the amplitude and initial phase of photoinduced coherent vibrations of the crystal lattice on the length of a rectangular excitation optical pulse has been derived. Comparison with the experiment for tellurium has been carried out.
