Monte Carlo simulation of spin-reorientation transition in weak ferrimagnets YFeCrO$_3$

Abstract: This work presents the modeling of the magnetic 3$d$-sublattice in mixed orthoferrites-orthochromites YFe$_{1-x}$Cr$_x$O$_3$ using classical Monte Carlo methods. It is shown that, when taking into account the competition of the Dzyaloshinskii vectors in the mixed compositions, magnetic moment compensations are observed, as well as angular magnetic configurations corresponding to the spin reorientation.
