Internal field in ferroelectric films with different electrodes

Abstract: It has been shown that a difference between the binding energies of electrons in different electrodes induces an electric field in the bulk of a ferroelectric film, which can be interpreted as a kind of internal bias field. The values of the internal bias field in films of different thicknesses have been found and compared with the theoretical calculations.
