Magneto-optical effects in composite hyperbolic metamaterials

Abstract: The results of experiments on measuring the magneto-optical response of hyperbolic metamaterials based on nanorods containing segments of gold and nickel are presented. A comparative analysis of the spectral behavior of the magnetic contrast in the geometry of Voigt and Faraday for samples was carried out, and a phenomenological description of phenomena was proposed.
