Heat capacity of alkali metal silicates

Abstract: It was established that at 298 K the molar heat capacity of alkali metal silicates K$_2$O $\cdot$ $n$SiO$_2$, Rb$_2$O $\cdot$ $n$SiO$_2$ and Cs$_2$O $\cdot$ $n$SiO$_2$ changes linearly when changing $n$ from 1 to 4. Based on the dependencies C$^o_{p,298}= f(n)$, the values of the heat capacities K$_2$O, Rb$_2$O and Cs$_2$O have been specified.
