Abstract:
A theoretical analysis of the motion of an edge dislocation ensemble during high strain rate deformation of metals and alloys with a high concentration of point defects was performed. An analytical expression for the dependence of the dynamic yield strength on the misfit parameter of point defects for various cases of high strain rate deformation has been obtained. A qualitative analysis of the results obtained has been performed within the framework of the theory of dynamic interaction of defects (DID). Numerical estimates of the area of applicability have been made.
