Effect of the heterovalent cation substitution Bi$^{3+}$ $\to$ Ba$^{2+}$ in BaTiO3 on the phase transition $Pm-3m\leftrightarrow P4$mm and efficiency of energy harvesting

Abstract: The heat capacity, thermal expansion and sensitivity to change of electric field of ceramic samples BaTiO$_3$ and Ba$_{0.97}$Bi$_{0.02}$TiO$_3$ were studied. The nature of the influence of chemical pressure and electric field on the main parameters of the phase transition $Pm-3m\leftrightarrow P4$mm was revealed. The Olsen thermodynamic cycle was analyzed in the entropy-temperature diagram and the densities of the converted waste heat energy into electrical energy were determined.
