Abstract:
The temperature dependences of the linear and nonlinear dielectric properties of a nanocomposite, based on porous ceramics of barium titanate BaTiO$_3$ with embedded potassium nitrate KNO$_3$, were obtained. It was found that potassium nitrate, embedded in pores, exhibits stabilization of the ferroelectric state at room temperature. The stabilization of the KNO$_3$ polar phase is explained by the presence of significant electric fields in the pores of the ceramic.
