Catalytical surface boundary conditions for Martian atmospheric entry

Abstract: Boundary conditions for a catalytic surface in a dissociated Martian atmosphere are obtained on the basis of ideally-adsorbed Langmuir theory. The reaction based on Eley–Rideal shock mechanism and the Langmuir–Hinshelwood reaction based on the recombination of two adsorbed species are taken into account.
