On nil- and nilpotent finitely defined algebras

Abstract: In the present article the equivalence of nil-property and nilpotency of finitely defined algebras is explored. The answer is given according to the numbers of the generators and the defining relations. An example of algebras with few defining relations and nilpotent monomials of the first and the second degrees is also built.
