Selected topics of the theory of orthogonal decomposition of associative algebras

Abstract: The notion of orthogonal decomposition of associative algebra envelopes such well-known themes as finite affine planes, Hadamard matrices, finite groups with partition, orthogonal decompositions of simple Lie algebras of type $A_n$ into the sum of Cartan subalgebras. Some new problems and results concerning this notion are introduced.
