On compactifications of discrete spaces

Abstract: Some types of points of Stone–Cech compactifications of countable and uncountable spaces are considered, such as weak $p$-points, matrix points, 0-points. Method of obtaning of these points by using of linked and independent matrices is given. Some new types of weak $p$-points are obtained by using subsets with countable Souslin number.
