On the kinetic mechanism of the reaction of NH$_2$ with O$_2$ in O-, H-, and N-containing flames. I. Kinetic parameters of the NH$_2$ + O$_2$ = NHO+OH reaction
Abstract:
The reaction pathways for NH$_2$ + O$_2\to$ Products are considered on the basis of experimental data on the ignition of an NH$_3$/O$_2$/Ar mixture in reflected shock waves ($p$ = 1–10 atm, $T$ = 900–2160 K) and on the NH$_3$/O$_2$/Ar flame structure ($p$ = 35 torr, $T$ = 1050–2600 K) using a multistage kinetic mechanism. The rate constants of the NH$_2$ + O$_2$ = HNO+OH reaction, obtained from a comparison of experimental and calculated data, are reported ($k$ = 3$\cdot$10$^{11}\operatorname{eõð}$ (-15,000/$RT$) cm$^3$/(mole$\cdot$s) at $T$$\simeq$ 1500–2160 L and $k$ = 3$\cdot$10$^9$ cm$^3$/(mole$\cdot$s) at $T$$\simeq$ 900–1400 K).
