Abstract:
A mathematical model is constructed for SHS with induced filtration of an inert gas counter to the gasless combustion front. Structural transformations are analyzed for a porous charge connected with liquid-phase sintering, the force effect of the filtering gas, and the change in condensed phase volume with chemical reaction. Conditions are determined for crack formation and for obtaining a uniform structure over the length of the products. Equations are obtained for product porosity and combustion rate.
