Stationarity conditions for physicochemical processes in the interior ballistics of a gun

Abstract: An original method is proposed for ensuring time-invariant (stationary) interior ballistic parameters in the postprojectile space of a gun barrel. Stationarity of the parameters is achieved by investing the solid-propellant charge with highly original structures that produce the required pressure condition and linear growth of the projectile velocity. Simple relations are obtained for calculating the principal characteristics.
