Abstract: Results of x–ray diffractometric studies of coatings and powders of the W–C, W–N, and W–C–N systems that were obtained under conditions of a shaped–charge explosion are reported. The dependence of the phase composition on the experimental conditions is investigated. Diffusion of nitrogen to the initial polycrystalline tungsten is shown.
