Abstract: This paper presents information on the development of a new contactless method for measuring the unsteady mass gasification rate based on dynamic recording of the amount of the test substance in a microwave sensor of the resonator type. The sensor design allows measuring the gasification rate with vigorous blowing of the surface of a sample with a bore for passage of gas flow.

Keywords: gasification rate, polymer materials, microwave radiation, microwave sensor.
