Abstract:
Dilatometric studies for the end burning of 3Cu–Al pressed samples in air were performed. The results are compared with data on the structural transformations occurring in burning samples of the same composition. A nonequilibrium mechanism of the processes occurring in burning and cooling samples is proposed. Possible reasons of the samples size variations during combustion are analyzed.
