Regeneration of a catalytic filter in the presence of highly flammable hydrocarbons in soot

Abstract: The process of oxidative regeneration of a catalytic particulate filter made of a fibrous material is analyzed theoretically. The effect of the growth rate of the input temperature and the presence of highly flammable hydrocarbons in exhaust gases entering the filter is demonstrated.
