Hyperbolicity of Generic Deformations

Abstract: We modify the deformation method in [B. Shiffman and M. Zaidenberg, Functional Anal. Appl., 39:1 (2005), 76–79] to construct further examples of Kobayashi hyperbolic surfaces in $\mathbb{P}^3_{\mathbb{C}}$ of any even degree $d\ge 8$.
