Abstract: This paper addresses the problem of increasing the reliability of a two-terminal network with low-reliability edges. An asymptotic estimate of the two-terminal network's lifetime is constructed, and the influence of dominant edges on its reliability is demonstrated. The results of a numerical experiment are presented using a two-level graph as an example, which has applications in neural network modeling.

Key words: reliability, lifetime, two-terminal network, dominant connection.
