Algorithms for verification of space images by shooting options

Abstract: This paper presents a solution of remote sensing data verification problem. This data includes optical digital image data and metadata containing shooting parameters. The current solution is based on the analysis of special numerical characteristics, which directly depend on the shooting parameters: sun position, satellite position and registration camera orientation. We propose two fully automatic computational procedures for remote sensing data analysis and decision-making based on data compatibility.
