Abstract: The results of comparative analysis of the morphology parameters of corrosion relief of surface (CRS) sample welds produced arc and laser welding. It is shown that the dynamics of the CRS weld parameters for these welding methods is markedly different. In the laser welding process differences CRS in the area of the weld metal and heat affected zone (HAZ) is less pronounced than in arc welding.

Keywords: heat exchanger tube sheet, chrome steel, laser welding, corrosive surface relief, laser scanning microscope.
