Abstract:
Experimentally microhydrodynamic processes in a layer of liquid and in separate drops on a surface of the transparent polymeric plate are found in case of excitation of flexural oscillations by the piezoelectric transformer. Interaction of liquid and the vibrating polymeric plate leads to the microhydrodynamic phenomena which are watched in case of impact on liquid by the vibrating metal plate. Transparency of a polymeric plate allows to watch oscillations of a drop or a section of a layer of liquid in case of radiation by their light through a substrate. Use of a stroboscope with controlled pulse frequency of light reveals features of oscillations of a surface of a drop or a layer of liquid due to strobing effects. Frequency control of pulses of light gives the chance of observation of oscillations of a surface of a drop in the form of the running capillary waves. The slow pattern of oscillations can be received in case of the relative change of pulse frequency of light and frequency of the excited oscillations of a plate.
