Study of laminar diffusion combustion models

Abstract: A numerical simulation of different approaches for laminar diffusion flame modeling is carried out. The study is focused on the flamelet model. Radiative heat losses are taken into account. The approaches are evaluated based on counterflow and coflow fuel and oxidizer feeding. Temperature and species fraction profiles are obtained. The values computed are compared with the experimental data.
