Deformation relief outer and inner surface of a hemisphere of titanium alloys after superplastic forming

Abstract: By laser scanning microscopy study of the deformation relief on the outer and inner surface of a hemisphere obtained by superplastic forming of sheet metal titanium alloy VT6 (6Al4V) with ultrafine structure. A comparative analysis of the parameters of the deformation relief with different stress-deformed state was accomplished. Using the results of computer simulation the interrelation between the degree of deformation relief and the parameters of the hemisphere has been established.
