Abstract:
Monte Carlo replica-exchange algorithm was used to study the antiferromagnetic Heisenberg model on a body-centered cubic lattice with competing exchange interactions in the presence of an external magnetic field. The influence of the external magnetic field on the thermodynamic and magnetic properties of this model was investigated. Temperature and field dependences of the main thermodynamic parameters were obtained. A phase diagram of the critical temperature as a function of the external magnetic field was constructed for the antiferromagnetic Heisenberg model on a body-centered cubic lattice. The ground-state magnetic structures were obtained over a wide range of magnetic fields.
